Sadie Kaye's Drawings will be on display at the Gunmakers Arms, https://gunmakersarms.com/ , Bath St, Birmingham B4 6HG, 1st Oct to 31 Dec 2024, and at Birmingham Open Studios https://birminghamopenstudios.co.uk/ , 28/29 Sep and 5/6 Oct 2024. All art work will be available to purchase at reasonable prices.
Drawing refers to the proportions and geometry of a two-dimensional artwork on its support: drawing does not imply any particular medium. A drawing is usually, though not always, made rather more quickly than a painting, often with a degree of spontaneity that paintings typically lack. This is the joy of drawing: it often has a looser structure, more immediacy in its inspiration, and a correspondingly different response in the viewer.
To support the Gunmakers Arm exhibition, there will be a Launch Party on 12 October at 2.30pm. Please come along then and meet the artist and other art lovers!
Sadie will also be doing demonstrations throughout the two weekends of the Birmingham Open Studios. Please come to her studio to have a look round and to support her.
