Artistic Expression

Sadie Kaye is a feminist artist and author, writing poetry, short stories, and creating oil paintings, and drawings in chalk pastels reflecting her transgender experience.

As an artist, her subject matter is people, as they really are. The media and her use of expression is an essential element of her art.

Open Studio

Sadie's studio is open as part of Birmingham Open Studios https://birminghamopenstudios.co.uk/ on 28/29 Sep and 5/6 Oct 2024. There will be demonstrations and artworks to buy. Come an meet her!

As a poet and author, she mostly writes about injustices and rights for women and trans people, and her experiences. She writes in an allegorical or metaphorical style, humorous but pointed.
